Operation Care Ministry strives to serve the community by
sharing the saving grace of Jesus Christ to more than 3,000
recipients and their families twice a year through quality
medical missions.
Vision
We envision Operation Care Ministry as an avenue for combined
ministry of healing and evangelism focused on:
Reaching
the spiritual and physical needs of individuals primarily
through preaching the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ as
an integral part of the Great Commission.
Providing
quality healthcare to our community through efficient and
competent care utilizing needed medical equipments, superior
physicians, staff, and volunteers without discrimination.
Establishing
a permanent medical center that provides quality healthcare
that will meet the needs of the community.

Principles
WE ARE a team of volunteer doctors, dentists, nurses, and
staff of Operation Care Ministry
WE
EXIST for we believe OCM is a vehicle for ministry reproduction
enlarging the kingdom of God in our community and around the
world.
WHY DO WE DO IT? We believe that Jesus placed emphasis on
the importance of serving where service is needed, simple
acts of mercy that is freely given and freely received. We
believe that these acts of service are a demonstration of
God’s love.
HOW DO WE DO IT? By providing a wide array of free medical
and dental services available that includes free medicines
and medical consultations for adult and children, dental check-ups
and extractions, free reading glasses, as well as Cataract
Screening, Blood Sugar Determination, ECG tests, prenatal
and various obstetric consultations, Blood Letting activities,
and minor surgeries like circumcision and local mass excisions.
Special
Treatment Services
Dental Check up and Tooth Extraction - this dental
service is only limited to check up, tooth extraction and
dental prosthesis. Other dental services like x-ray, cleaning,
and others are not included.
Electrocardiogram or ECG Check up – is a procedure
to check the electrical activity of the patient’s heart.
It generates a display of electric waves using the ECG machine
which is then given to the recipient. This is just a test
and will not be diagnosed by the technical staff or operator
of the said machine. However, the results can be viewed by
the consulting physician available during the medical mission
activity.
Blood Sugar Determination (BSD) - this medical service
allows instant feedback which determines and provides the
recipient valuable information about blood sugar levels using
a glucometer facilitated by private agencies or by OCM BSD
medical representative.
Optometry
Services – provides free eye check up and reading
glasses to recipients. The Optometrist also recommends the
recipient for Cataract Screening facilitated by a partner
organization.
Medical Consultations – this covers free adult,
pedia, and OB check-up and consultation in various short term
disease processes. Medicines are prescribed by consultants
and are given for free by OCM.
Minor Surgeries - this is limited to local cyst or
local mass removal, and or circumcision, depending on the
availability of venue, surgeon, supplies and treatment. |
